CAVITATION

Cavitation is a non-surgical technique to remove localized fat through the use of low-frequency ultrasound, which is applied to the area where the fat is concentrated to dissolve the fat cells from within. Later the fat is eliminated with the urine or through the lymphatic system. This technique is used to eliminate orange peel skin and mattress skin, returning the normal appearance to the skin of the treated areas, while improving circulation, eliminating toxins and increasing the tone and elasticity of the tissues.

For the use of cavitation, a prior medical examination is required, since this technique is contraindicated in:

  • Patients with pacemakers or other implanted electronic devices.

  • Patients with hypercholesterolemia.

  • Patients with hypertriglyceridaemia.

  • With kidney failure.

  • With liver failure.

  • Pregnant women.

  • Lactating women.
